About Warszawa Centralna Rail Station

Warszawa Centralna station, designed by Pyotr Szymanyuk and Arseny Romanowicz began operation in 1975. Escalators and automatic doors were installed here for the first time. The station complex has three floors. There are ticket offices, cafes, waiting rooms (including superior comfort, designed for VIP passengers), a supermarket, and exits for transferring to ground transport in the upper, aboveground part. There are lost and found offices and outlets for charging electronic devices at the station. Luggage storage rooms (manual and automatic) are open around the clock. In addition, there are vending machines for exchanging paper bills for coins and English-language instructions for self-use.

Toilets at Warszawa Centralna station are available around the clock, but they are paid access. Warsaw main train station serves almost all international destinations, including Czech, Austrian and German. Only for part of the trains going west, the path can start at "Warsaw-East," and to the east - at "Warsaw-West." In addition to international flights, regional trains also depart from here. You can get to the desired platform from the lower, underground floor of the station. Warsaw Central station also offers free Wi-Fi, cafes and restaurants, and is located close to the iconic sights of the Polish capital.
